      Role Purpose

      The IT deployment lead will take the lead in delivering all key IT strategic new business wins as well as supporting key organic growth within the business

      Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to support project implementations to align scope and ensure the required quality, time-line and project budget are being met.

      Lead / Manage the IT Deployment team to identify and deveope new IT solutions in line with LLP EMEA IT / business Strategy and customer requirements

      Lead the IT activity during Solution Validation process to validate business requiremenst and prepare IT Solution Design aligned with LLP standards and customer need

      Support onward project phases (Build, Technical Testing, UAT, implementation) as required to ensure alignment of scope and quality of deliverables in the IT workstream and alignemnt to IT Strategy

      Drive Standardisation of IT / Business delivery processes to enable a quicker and more effective project delivery

      Provide strategic IT Deployment leadership / Thinking when working with new customers/Strategic projects to drive digital innovation

      Provide IT Deployment related training and support for new starters joining the team and/or projects and business.

      Lead best creation of practice process, documentation and implement improvement from lessons learned in projects to drive continuous improvement in IT Deployment

      Support System & Process improvement with Integrated IT systems solutions, by gathering requirements, selecting suppliers, providing the business with potential solutions

      Responsible for supporting the Regional IT Business Partner / IT SLT in ensuring all IT services are delivered in line with the operational and IT scope of the projects and business.

      Coordinate with IT Suppliers and IT Project managers to ensure project scope , budgets , timelines and being met.


      Responsibilities

      • Leading new LLP project implementations across EMEA Region

      • Lead the IT delivery of Solution Validation and onward projects phases along side the IT Project managers and wider LLP IT Organisation

      Lead the IT due diligence process to validate the outlined IT Solution is an optimal fit for the business / customer

      • IT Change Management, support and manage all aspects of change and release management for IT systems within area of responsibility.

      • IT Supplier Management - management of IT suppliers within area of responsibility to deliver projects on time, scope and budget

      • External Customer Relationships - manage and support communication with external customers as appropriate to support business development, in-flight projects and existing operations

      • Develop knowledge of all systems to support and drive best practice within operational processes of system

      Provide strategic IT account leadership / Thinking when working with the new customers to drive digital innovation

      • Training and Documentation - define requirement for and then facilitate creation and maintenance of required IT documentation. Facilitate the delivery of appropriate IT training to operational super users


      Requirement for the job

      Mandatory Requirements:

      • English Language Fluent

      • Logistics Industryexperience

      • IT Service Management 5 years and people management ( middle management desirable)

      • Internal/External Customer Management

      • Change Management

      • IT Literate

      • Communication (written and verbal)

      • Planning and Organisation

      Desirable requirements:

      Technical Knowledge (General SDLC appraoch - Essential), (TMS solutions (OTM), Integration, 3rd Party SAAS solutions - Desirable)
