What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Independently process travel claims in accordance with associated policies
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls from claimants and suppliers in a professional manner
- Meet established performance standards for claims processing quantity and quality
- Maintain current knowledge of plans and apply this knowledge to claims and customer service
- Function independently within established guidelines while ensuring compliance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Effective time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office programs
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team-based environment
- Problem/issue resolution capability
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service or claims processing in the insurance industry
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and regulations
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting business materials and technical procedures
