What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Answer incoming calls from consumers and assist with healthcare-related inquiries
- Track and document all inquiries using applicable systems
- Process new applications for health care coverage and facilitate enrollment into health plans
- Handle life event changes, demographic updates, and disenrollment requests as needed
- Provide translation services for non-English speaking callers and escalate issues when required
What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required with 6+ months of relevant professional experience
- Proficiency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese languages, including speaking, reading, and translating fluently
- Strong data entry and telephone skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Previous experience in customer service preferred
- Familiarity with computers, phone systems, and headsets
