Summary and Responsibilities
The UX Manager leads the User Experience function for our products, ensuring intuitive, accessible, and high-quality user experiences that align with customer needs and business goals. This role manages UX design and content strategy, guiding junior UX designers and the technical writing function, while partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer-facing teams. The UX Manager will elevate our design standards, champion user-centered thinking, and drive consistency across the product ecosystem. The role reports into the Senior Vice President of Product Management.
Leadership & Management
Lead, mentor, and develop the junior designers and the technical writing function.
Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and support career development.
Establish and maintain UX processes, documentation, and design standards.
Own and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and scalability.
User Experience Strategy
Drive a cohesive UX vision across all products in partnership with the SVP of Product.
Ensure UX decisions are grounded in user research, customer feedback, and data.
Define and implement UX best practices, design frameworks, and accessibility standards.
Design & Execution
Create and oversee wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and visual design created by the team.
Collaborate with Product Managers to shape feature requirements and design priorities.
Work with Engineering to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Review and refine user interface designs to maintain product consistency and quality.
Content Strategy Oversight
Guide the technical writers in creating clear, accurate, and user-friendly documentation.
Ensure product content aligns with UX principles and reduces user friction.
Advocate for accessible, customer-empowering content across self-service channels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Customer Success, Professional Services, and Support teams to gather insights, reduce support needs, and enhance self-service experiences. Drive key business outcomes, including reduced churn, improved adoption, and decreased support volume through UX improvements.
Participate in discovery sessions, usability testing, and customer research.
Communicate UX vision, updates, and rationale to stakeholders.
Translate UX insights into measurable product and customer impact.
Continuous Improvement
Define and track UX-related metrics such as usability, task success, adoption, and support drivers.
Identify opportunities to simplify workflows and improve customer outcomes.
Stay current with UX trends, tools, and best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
6–10 years of experience in UX, product design, or related fields.
2–4+ years of experience leading or mentoring designers and/or content professionals.
Strong understanding of UX principles, interaction design, accessibility, and design systems.
Understanding of the application of AI in a design context.
Experience partnering with Product Managers and Engineers in Agile product teams.
Working knowledge of front-end technologies and design-to-development workflows (not expected to code).
Experience in B2B SaaS; hospitality, property management, or vertical SaaS experience is a strong plus.

Compensation
The typical starting salary range for this position is: $140-160k
The actual salary offer will consider multiple factors, including skills, experience, education, and location. Please note that the salary reflects the base amount only and does not include total compensation, such as discretionary bonuses and benefits.
