What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inbound calls, texts, chats, and emails from families seeking in-home euthanasia, hospice guidance, or aftercare services
- Provide compassionate and informed guidance regarding services, appointment expectations, and aftercare options
- Book appointments and ensure accurate documentation of notes, add-ons, and special family needs
- Communicate with on-call veterinarians to coordinate appointment details and make judgment calls for urgent situations
- Accurately collect payments, manage payment troubleshooting, and maintain confidentiality of client records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Ability to remain calm, composed, and empathetic through emotional conversations
- Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable with cloud-based software platforms and multitasking between various tasks
- Punctual, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Comfortable working remotely with a dedicated quiet workspace
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in veterinary medicine, pet care, hospice, or customer service
- Prior call center, veterinary, or triage-type experience
- Availability on evenings, weekends, or holidays
