Position Overview
SGW Designworks is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to provide administrative and operational support to our remote team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career or looking to gain experience in a professional engineering and product development environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple tasks while working independently in a remote setting.
Responsibilities
Manage calendars, meetings, and appointment scheduling.
Respond to emails and organize correspondence.
Maintain digital files, spreadsheets, and company records.
Assist with data entry, document preparation, and reporting.
Coordinate meetings and prepare meeting notes.
Support project teams with administrative tasks.
Conduct online research and compile information.
Assist with travel arrangements and expense tracking when needed.
Help organize company documents and internal workflows.
Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or Google Workspace.
Comfortable learning new software and online collaboration tools.
Reliable internet connection and a dedicated remote workspace.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred
Previous administrative, customer service, or virtual assistant experience is a plus but not required.
Familiarity with project management tools such as Trello, Asana, or ClickUp is a plus.
Experience using Zoom, Microsoft Teams, or Google Meet.
