What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Support lessons taught by the teacher to individual students or groups, following instructional plans
- Assist in planning classroom activities as directed by the Teacher and support all student and parent relations
- Implement and uphold the school's philosophy and mission statement in all school activities
- Collaborate effectively with the Teacher and other staff members
- Contribute to a positive school climate by exhibiting high professional standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate Degree, two years of college coursework, or passage of the Para Professional's Exam
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Successful completion of BCI/FBI check
- Ability to manage confidential information effectively
- High-quality written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a school or social services setting is a plus
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- Physical ability to lift 25-40 lbs
