      JOB TITLE: VP Sales and Business Development

      DEPARTMENT: Sales

      REPORTING TO: CEO

      PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:

      The Vice President of Sales and Marketing is responsible for driving revenue growth through the development and execution of integrated sales and marketing strategies. This role leads both the Sales and Marketing functions to ensure alignment across customer acquisition, retention, branding, and market expansion. The VP will lead a highly motivated team and work within a structured set of business and operational policies to achieve strategic goals.

      DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
      • Own full responsibility for company revenue and achieving or exceeding annual growth targets
      • Develop and execute strategic business, sales, and marketing plans in alignment with corporate objectives.
      • Increase the company's gross profit margin by annually through improved pricing, targeting, and solution-selling strategies.
      • Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking across both functions.
      • Oversee brand management, product marketing, digital marketing, advertising, and public relations to elevate market presence.
      • Build and maintain strong customer relationships; support closing of key opportunities.
      • Develop and formalize sales processes to increase account penetration and acquire new strategic customers.
      • Align marketing and sales activities to improve lead generation, conversion rates, and campaign effectiveness.
      • Collaborate with Program Managers, Global Account Managers and Sales team for regular customer reviews and engagement.
      • Implement training and development programs for sales and marketing staff.
      • Monitor market and competitor trends to adjust strategies and maintain competitive edge.
      • Support go-to-market strategies for new products and services.
      • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
      • Promote a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement across both teams.

      Requirements

      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
      • Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in sales and/or marketing with a proven track record of results.
      • BS degree required; MBA preferred.
      • Exceptional communication, analytical, and leadership skills.
      • Experience leading cross-functional teams and aligning strategies across departments.
      • Travel 40% - 50%

      WORK ENVIRONMENT:

      This position will work in both front office and shop environments. In the shop, the employee may be exposed to airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, machines, and material handling vehicles. PPE is required in this shop area.

      PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
      • While performing duties of this job, the employee is required to have good hearing and sight.
      • You will need to be able to walk the shop floor and be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
