Position Title: Office Administrator - Canyon Truck Upfitters (located in Caldwell, ID)

Status: Fulltime

Position Overview

Are you organized, friendly, and great with customers? Canyon Truck Upfitters is looking for an Office Administrator to be the first face and voice our customers meet. You'll keep the front office running smoothly by handling paperwork, answering phones, greeting customers, and helping with counter sales. If you like variety in your day and take pride in doing things right, we'd like to meet you.

What you will do

  • Greet customers as they arrive and provide knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service
  • Answer phones promptly, assist with counter sales, and provide price quotes in person and online
  • Handle light bookkeeping, data entry, end-of-day reports, ticket entry, and mail
  • Follow up with customers on special orders
  • Recommend additional products and services that fit customers' needs
  • Serve as shuttle/courtesy driver and handle product pick-ups and deliveries
  • Assist with inventory
  • Keep the office and customer waiting area clean, stocked, and welcoming
  • Follow safe work practices and Canyon Truck Upfitters' safety guidelines
  • Take part in training and development opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record
  • 6 months of related office or customer service experience
  • Strong office, communication, and organizational skills
  • A customer-first attitude and close attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Physical & Environmental Functions

This is primarily an indoor office role (about 75% sitting, 20% walking, 5% standing)

Located at a shared workstation using a computer, keyboard, and phone.

Occasional lifting of up to 10 lbs.

Occasional extended days may be required.

Work includes frequent reading, writing, and face-to-face customer contact, with some basic math.
