Metals USA is seeking an Office Manager for our Ambridge PA facility. Metals USA is a solid, growth oriented, carbon steel (plate, beam and tube) distribution center servicing the defense, commercial, construction, aerospace and fabrication industries.

The Office Manager is responsible to organize and coordinate the office administration and procedures in order to ensure organizational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. The Office Manager is responsible for developing intra/inter-office communication protocols and streamlining administrative procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Manages office services by ensuring office operations and procedures are organized.
• Develops and implements office policies by setting up procedures and standards to guide the operation of the office.
• Expedites compiles and maintains order status information as well as signed proof of delivery for each purchase order and shipment which is required to recognize revenue and comply with contracts.
• Manages the annual physical inventory process in compliance with Reliance Steel and Aluminum's protocols. Will assist with the annual physical inventory at multiple locations.
• Serves as the liaison for the purchase of office, stationery and kitchen supplies.
• Manages relationships with vendors, service providers and landlords.
• Partners with Human Resources to assist with recruitment and orientation of new employees.
• Reviews and reconciles bi-weekly payroll and submits for processing. Maintains payroll records as required by the company, state and federal regulations.
• Regular and predictable attendance is required to perform the duties of an Office Manager.
• Adheres to Reliance Steel and Aluminum's Code of Conduct as well as customer confidentiality requirements.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

Occupation requires being sedentary less than or equal to 75% of the time ( < to 6 hours per day).

• Stand, walk, sit, hearing, talking, use of hands and fingers, hand-eye coordination, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, squat or kneel or bend
• Regularly required to work on multiple concurrent tasks with constant interruptions
• Lift, carry, push and/or pull up to a maximum of 25 lbs. without assistance
• Travel required both vehicle and air

Work Environment:

May be exposed to some of the following working conditions.

• Position works primarily in an office/cubicle environment
• Constant Telephone Activity
• Constant work environment change depending phone activity, customer interaction and employee concerns
• Quiet to Moderate Noise Levels
• Traffic congestion and/or air traffic delays

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or relevant course of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to interface effectively with all departments to foster a success-oriented, accountable organization.
• Ability to communicate both oral & written effectively with internal & external customers.
• Ability to respond effectively to time-sensitive and problematic & precarious inquiries and complaints.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and generate valid & concise conclusions.
• Represents the management in a highly professional manner, exercises diplomacy and maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
• Must successfully complete the RSAC Reasonable Suspicion Training
• Computer Literacy; Microsoft Office Products and ERP.
