Job Description

Position Responsibilities:

Operational Excellence and Asset Management Protection:

· Develop departmental procedures and control programs, strategies and tactics to ensure a proactive and efficient approach to inventory management while controlling expenses.

· Identifies and resolves pricing discrepancies, delivery problems, and backorder issues.

· Troubleshoot problems and questions regarding shortages, lost sales, and vendor issues.

· Work closely with store management and OSS staff to ensure the most effective, up-to-date inventory is in place.

· Proactively recommend solutions to optimize inventory turns. Actively manage non-moving inventory and determine best practices for reducing obsolete items.

· Continuously monitor/analyze all purchasing done at the store level to ensure efforts are not duplicated and best prices obtained.

· Assist stores in completing periodic cycle inventories and communicate with management regarding adjustments.

· Must be proficient with Excel, Word and Outlook. Must be willing and able to learn proprietary computer software.

NOTE: The definition of the performance measures may change over time as we implement new methods to measure and thereby gain more clarity. Perform any other duties deemed necessary by Manager and/or company leadership.

Qualifications

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite. Advanced user with Excel preferred. Must be able to quickly learn proprietary software.

Additional Information
