Supply Technician (Motor Vehicle Operator)

About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Cadet Command 5th Brigade, Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah.

Duties

• Maintain the document register for supply actions, manage supply due-in reconciliations with requisition records, maintain inventory record.
• Prepare equipment status reports.
• Receive shipments and verifies shipment documents.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Business travel required 30% of the time/May require 6-12 weeks Temporary Duty (TDY) in Support of Cadet Command Summer Training.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license.
• May be required to obtain and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazardous Material Endorsement (HAZMAT).
• Must meet the requirements under the Lautenberg Amendment/Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment to the Gun Control Act of 1968.
• Completion of Unit Armor Course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
• Completion of Contracting Officers Representative course may be required. If selected to perform this duty, the Command will ensure the incumbent completes and maintains the Certification Training.
• Must successfully complete drug testing; required to complete and sign the Department of Army (DA) Form 5019, Designation of Testing Designated Positions.
• Duties require receipt, lifting and moving supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 or more pounds.
