Role Summary
Seeking an experienced Senior Hybrid Cloud OS Image & Provisioning Automation Engineer with 10+ years of infrastructure engineering experience and strong hands-on expertise in Linux and Windows OS image engineering, physical/bare-metal provisioning, VMware virtualization, public cloud, and infrastructure automation.

Key Responsibilities
Engineer, maintain, test, and lifecycle-manage standardized Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Oracle Linux, and Windows Server OS images/SOE builds.
Develop automated/unattended OS deployment and post-build configuration for Linux and Windows platforms.
Support on-premises Windows Server deployment using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) and associated image engineering processes.
Engineer and automate physical/bare-metal server OS provisioning, including knowledge of BIOS/UEFI, firmware, storage/RAID, networking, boot configuration, hardware drivers, and OS installation.
Experience with hardware management technologies/APIs such as Redfish, HPE iLO, Dell iDRAC, or equivalent.
Engineer and support VMware VM provisioning using vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VMware Aria Automation (vRA), and Aria Orchestrator (vRO).
Support server/compute provisioning and OS configuration across Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform (Eligible to workP).
Develop reusable automation using Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell, cURL, REST APIs, JSON, and YAML.
Build automation covering the end-to-end lifecycle: infrastructure provisioning → OS deployment → SOE configuration → security hardening → agent/software installation → validation → inventory/CMDB integration → handover.
Integrate provisioning workflows with enterprise orchestration/service-management platforms such as ServiceNow and infrastructure APIs.
Implement robust automation practices including Git version control, reusable modules/roles, idempotency, logging, error handling, retry/recovery, secure credential management, auditability, and automated validation.
Troubleshoot complex provisioning issues across hardware, virtualization/cloud, storage, network, operating system, and automation layers.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of hands-on experience in server, infrastructure, platform, OS, or automation engineering.
Strong engineering experience with RHEL, Oracle Linux, and Windows Server.
Proven experience with OS image engineering, SOE development, image lifecycle management, and security hardening.
Strong knowledge of physical/bare-metal OS provisioning and enterprise server hardware.
Experience with MDT-based Windows deployments and automated Linux deployments.
Strong VMware experience including vSphere/vCenter and vRA/vRO.
Experience working in hybrid-cloud environments spanning on-premises, Azure, AWS, and Eligible to workP.
Strong automation/scripting experience with Ansible, PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell, REST APIs, and cURL.
Working knowledge of Git, JSON/YAML, CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Experience integrating provisioning/configuration processes with CMDB, monitoring, security, patching, and enterprise management systems.
Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify issues across multiple infrastructure technology layers.
