About this job

Executive Assistant

Help Finance leaders stay focused, prepared, and moving forward.

This is an opportunity to become a trusted partner to Resmed’s Finance Leadership Team, supporting leaders across the U.S. West Coast and Australia.

As Executive Assistant, you’ll go beyond traditional administrative support by helping leaders prioritize their time, prepare for critical discussions, coordinate leadership activities, and drive follow-through on decisions and commitments.

You’ll bring structure to a fast-moving global environment, connecting priorities, people, meetings, and information so leaders can focus on the work that matters most. From coordinating leadership rhythms and executive communications to global travel and offsites, you’ll help Finance leadership operate with clarity and consistency.

This role requires flexibility to adjust working hours to support leaders across U.S. West Coast and Australia time zones.

What You'll Do

  • Manage complex global calendars, aligning leadership time with high-impact priorities while anticipating conflicts, dependencies, and changing needs.
  • Build an understanding of Finance priorities, stakeholders, and business rhythms to anticipate needs, connect the dots and recommend practical solutions.
  • Coordinate Finance Leadership Team meetings, business reviews, planning sessions, offsites, and conferences, including agendas, pre-reads, stakeholder inputs, logistics, and materials.
  • Track decisions, actions, and key dependencies to create visibility, reinforce accountability and support follow-through.
  • Prepare executive communications, presentations, and leadership materials that are clear, organized, and appropriate for senior audiences.
  • Coordinate stakeholder inputs for external reporting, announcements, Board-related activities, and Investor Relations.
  • Partner across Finance, senior leadership, external stakeholders, and Resmed’s global Executive Assistant network to keep information and activities moving effectively.
  • Plan complex global travel, including itineraries and logistics, and manage related expenses.
  • Drive coordination for special projects and cross-functional initiatives involving multiple senior stakeholders, bringing structure to complex or ambiguous work.
  • Improve administrative and leadership processes using Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation, and emerging AI tools to simplify work and improve productivity.

What You Bring

  • Experience supporting senior executives or leadership teams in complex, global, high-pressure environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, complex schedules, and leadership team activities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with confidence engaging senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to anticipate needs, navigate ambiguity, solve problems independently, and exercise discretion, integrity, and sound judgment in sensitive situations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and Excel, with effective use of AI tools such as Copilot.
  • Flexibility to adjust working hours to support U.S. West Coast and Australia time zones.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Investor Relations, Strategy, a CFO organization, or another enterprise function.
  • Experience in a global, publicly traded, healthcare, medical technology, or regulated environment.
  • Project coordination or program management experience supporting business reviews, offsites, or large-scale leadership meetings.

What Sets You Apart

  • Anticipation: You look ahead, identify what leaders will need next, and act before competing priorities become obstacles.
  • Judgment: You navigate sensitive matters thoughtfully, knowing when to act independently and how to manage information and access with discretion.
  • Ownership: You follow commitments through to completion and create confidence that important details won’t get lost.
  • Adaptability: You stay composed when priorities shift and respond practically to change across a complex global environment.
  • Business Curiosity: You seek to understand the business behind the work, connecting priorities, stakeholders, and information to anticipate needs and become a more effective partner.
