About this job

Company Overview

Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service.

The ideal candidate operates with high autonomy, exceptional organizational skills, and sound judgment in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. Serving as a central operational partner, you will anticipate executive needs, streamline communication, manage shifting priorities, and drive administrative deliverables with high accuracy and discretion.

  • Functional Administrative Support: Provide administrative coordination to People Team functional leaders, including calendar alignment, meeting logistics, and materials preparation as needed
  • Travel & Expense Operations: Coordinate comprehensive travel logistics, itineraries, and accommodations for the CPO and high-priority guests; manage accurate and timely expense report preparation and submission
  • Visitor Hosting & Onboarding Support: Serve as a key representative by hosting visitors on-site and partnering with People Operations to support seamless onboarding experiences for new team members
  • Special Projects & Communication: Facilitate effective internal communications and lead ad hoc project assignments with high initiative and minimal oversight

Required

  • Minimum 8+ years of administrative or executive support experience
  • Minimum 4 years of experience supporting a VP-level leader in any size business, or a Director-level leader in a global organization
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize executive calendars and exercise independent judgment when managing rapidly shifting priorities
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with high efficiency, accuracy, and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with demonstrated ownership over complex or ambiguous tasks with little oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a track record of building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven discretion and integrity when handling highly confidential or sensitive information.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience

Desired

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
