What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as a technical member of a Cyber Action Team, developing Authority to Operate and Authority to Connect (ATO/ATC) packages
- Write and modify technical artifacts to ensure favorable ATO/ATC decisions
- Track and monitor Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and escalate cybersecurity risks as needed
- Provide input to cybersecurity artifacts and technical briefings for clients
- Facilitate actions of mentored personnel and document meeting notes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of professional work experience
- IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software
- Strong understanding of structured analysis and design methodologies
- Ability to evaluate cost factors and risks associated with cybersecurity projects
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a related technical discipline, or 8 years of additional experience in lieu of a degree
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Familiarity with implementing Electronic Health Records (EHR)
