Job Description
- Req#: 9499
- Read blend sheets and follows instructions that may be given on the blend sheets to standardize blender.
- Scrape any mold found on cheese and deposits mold in detained product tubs.
- P ractices good housekeeping of work areas and grinder office.
- H elp Slurry and Slurry helps Grinders and other co-workers when they are available.
- Fill out all paperwork completely and correctly including name, production line number and products ran.
- Sanitize lines at start up.
- All GLC employees are expected to perform any assignment or job task according to the stated safety policies and procedures.
- All GLC employees are expected to produce our products in a manner that exceeds the quality and value expectation of our customers and consumers by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices, Policies and Procedures outlined in our Safe Quality Food Program.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
- Must be legally authorized to work for a company in the United States without sponsorship.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Previous manufacturing experience.
- Ability to read production schedule and plan and organize workday.
- Self-motivated and can work with limited supervision.
- Ability to operate a handheld computer/scanner.
- Ability to operate various Powered Industrial Trucks.
- Ability to manage time and organize work.
- Ability to follow instructions and proper work procedures.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Ability to work cooperatively with co-workers and management.
- Good communication skills: verbal and written.

• Ability to constantly stand/walk; bend/flex/extend neck; frequently grip/reach/lift/pull with L/R hands.• Ability to frequently handle material from floor-to-waist, waist-to-shoulder and pushing/pulling/carrying.• Hair nets, ear plugs/muffs, hardhats, and/or safety glasses may be required.• Product weight: up to 50 lbs.• Repetitive work in a fast-paced production environment with average temperature of 50-60 degrees F.• Use of motor skills to safely drive tow motors or other motorized vehicles in tight quarters.EEOC & Disclaimer
