What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive net new sales and manage upsell opportunities within assigned Federal accounts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on business opportunities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and market expert, communicating the value of Rapid7’s solutions
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and forecasts in Salesforce
- Partner with distribution and channel partners to create mutually beneficial outcomes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of closing experience in enterprise software sales to Federal Civilian executives
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity software sales
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a security clearance
- Proven track record of achieving sales quotas and recognition in sales performance
- Ability to engage in strategic conversations with senior-level executives
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Active security clearance is strongly preferred
- Experience building consensus among multiple stakeholders within client organizations
- Familiarity with customer selection criteria for both budgeted and unbudgeted needs
- Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities
- Experience in driving sales processes and managing forecasts effectively
