What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute commercial field sales strategy with targeted oncology customers to drive sales and achieve business objectives
- Develop strong customer relationships to promote the employer's portfolio of oncology products
- Create and implement detailed strategic plans for gaining and retaining customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to achieve company goals and objectives
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership for strategic adjustments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of field-based, account-focused healthcare sales experience, preferably in a molecular diagnostic setting
- Resides in the territory or within 25 miles of territory boundary
- Four-year university degree (B.S. in life science, biology, business, or marketing preferred)
- Proven track record of exceeding sales expectations
- Ability to travel frequently ( > 50%) throughout the assigned territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics for oncology and the competitive landscape
- Experience in revenue generation and quota attainment in a diagnostic or pharmaceutical setting
- Consultative selling skills to address client needs effectively
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
