What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Execute commercial field sales strategy with targeted oncology customers to drive sales and achieve business objectives
- Develop strong customer relationships that enable engagement with target customers on the employer's product portfolio
- Create and implement detailed strategic plans for gaining and retaining new and existing customers
- Collaborate with internal partners and leadership to ensure attainment of company goals
- Analyze the competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership for strategic adjustments
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 3 years of field-based, account-focused healthcare sales experience, preferably in a molecular diagnostic setting
- Resides in the territory or within 25 miles of the territory boundary
- Four-year university degree, preferably in life science, biology, business, or marketing
- Proven history of above-average performance in sales
- Ability to engage effectively with customers at all organizational levels
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics for oncology
- Demonstrated measurable revenue generation or quota attainment in a relevant field
- Ability to engage in a consultative selling process and overcome objections
- Excellent negotiation and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
