What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Drive strategic business expansion with major cancer centers, clinics, and academic medical centers
- Structure detailed strategic plans for acquiring and retaining clients
- Collaborate with sales teams to achieve company goals and objectives
- Analyze competitive landscape and provide feedback to leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan for the assigned territory
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2-3 years of direct account management experience in a molecular diagnostic setting
- 3-5 years of experience with major cancer centers and oncology practices
- Proven track record of revenue generation in a diagnostic, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology setting
- Strong understanding of molecular diagnostics and the oncology competitive landscape
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic sales planning skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience engaging and selling at the executive level (CEO, COO, CFO)
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com
- Knowledge of oncology, hematology, chemotherapeutics, and targeted agents
- Ability to develop cross-functional relationships to achieve work goals
- Familiarity with the payor and reimbursement environment in oncology
