This is a full-cycle, individual contributor sales role responsible for maintaining and expanding the government and public sector client-base that utilize Statista’s market research platform
Work with the Head of Sales, Academia & Government to maintain and drive our brand equity and overall sales goals within the US and Canadian Federal, State, and Local Government
Build relationships with existing and prospective clients to successfully meet your book of business’s renewal and expansion expectations
Manage extended sales cycles with often protracted procurement processes and legal negotiations
Work as a liaison between the sales team, customers, and other departments at Statista (research team, product team, legal team, etc.)
Consistently go above and beyond to exceed both individual and team sales goals
Become an expert on Statista’s platform and various accompanying research offerings
2+ years minimum full sales-cycle sales experience, with 1+ year experience selling into the US Federal Government strongly preferred
Superior sales and business acumen
Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
SaaS or subscription-based sales experience
Federal Government contract vehicle experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and prospecting tools
Positive, high-energy, and desire to exceed both individual and team quotas

Work from abroad up to 30 calendar days a year
