Job Description

- Create new vendor records and makes changes vendor master data in SAP.
- Accurately record invoices and ensure proper coded of expense accounts for multiple business units.
- Manage high volume processing in a timely manner with accuracy
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors, and resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.
- Communicate with vendors about payment for their services.
- Record and reconcile employee expense reimbursements in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare weekly payments including check, ACH, and wire payments.
- Post transactions to ensure paid invoices are cleared in a timely manner.
- Reconcile accounts payable activity.
- Assist with the month-end closing process.
- Produces monthly reporting.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 4+ years of experience in Accounts Payable roles.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or related.
- Experience in account reconciliation.
- Proficient excel and other Microsoft Office Suite applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- SAP experience a plus

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for invoice entry, payment processing and vendor relationship management.
Responsibilities
Performs accounting and clerical duties related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.
