      Job Title: Accounting Close - Fixed Asset Specialist - Associate

      Location: Manila

      Corporate Title: Associate

      Accounting Close ensures all transactions are correctly accounted for and provides a golden source financial information data set upon which all internal and external reporting is based. The team ensures the integrity of reportable financial information up to, and including, CAT 3 release and the operation of the Revenue, Cost, Local and Group close processes. Our team of experts will be there to support your development to ensure you excel in this function. Your role is responsible for ensuring the financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Disclosures), for the Business that they control, are complete, accurate and timely.

      Your key responsibilities

      • Perform and review finance and accounting process but not limited to cost calculations, cost bookings, accounts payable invoicing/settlement, fixed asset processing, analytical review, reconciliation, MRP substantiation, financial commentary and reporting process in adherence to Global Accounting policy

      • Responsible and accountable for the completeness and accuracy of cost bookings and Fixed Assets bookings including Depreciation process batch run.

      • Perform review of month end functions such as review of late adjustment entries with proper root cause analysis performed on operational issues

      • Handle direct cost related queries and recommend resolution of issues

      • Performs sense checks/ self-review of process outputs to detect irregularities, error or variances.

      • Ensure quality of output are:

        in compliance with predefined processes and service level agreements/ KPIs

        in compliance with policies, legal and statutory requirements

        accurate and complete

      • Collaborate with stakeholders and other teams for efficient execution of end-to-end operations through engagement calls

      • Engage in change initiatives that may include but are not limited to brainstorming exercises, process improvement discussions, user acceptability testing and post deployment reviews

      • Provides guidance to the Team by coordinating activities, answering questions and providing support, tracking progress, ensuring feedback and addressing performance problems/issues promptly

      • Support for all projects impacting fixed asset production

      • Responsible for the regular update and compliance of DB policies particularly on fixed asset production.

      Your skills and experience

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, or its Business-related equivalents with Accounting courses

      • Can clearly and effectively communicate with others

      • Can effectively work and collaborate with others towards common goals and objectives

      • Ability to escalate adequately and properly

      • Adapting quickly and positively to changing situations; restructuring tasks and priorities as circumstances develop within the business and organization

      • Self-motivated individual requiring minimal supervision with passion for performance
