      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Serve as the primary point of contact for the Office of Animal Welfare and the Center for Laboratory Animal Resources, providing accurate information via phone, email, and in person
      - Provide general administrative support, including managing shared email accounts and coordinating logistical support for meetings and events
      - Prepare materials for monthly Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee meetings and provide logistical support during these meetings
      - Manage the intake and processing of protocol items and grants, liaising with various departments as needed
      - Oversee administrative operations, including class scheduling, registration management, and participant communications

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - High School Diploma or GED and three years of office or administrative support experience
      - Working knowledge of federally mandated animal care and use program requirements
      - Experience with electronic IACUC protocol systems, such as HoverBoard
      - Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
      - Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience in an academic or research environment
      - Familiarity with IACUC operating procedures and relevant regulations
      - Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
      - Excellent customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
      - Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment with sensitive information
