- Provide administrative support to facility leadership and departmental staff
- Manage correspondence, scheduling, recordkeeping, and document preparation
- Assist with data entry, reporting, and file maintenance
- Coordinate meetings, trainings, and internal communications
- Support compliance with departmental policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Serve as a professional point of contact for staff, visitors, and external partner
- A job appointment is a temporary job lasting up to four years; however, should a permanent position become available, the employee may be converted to a probational appointment.
- This position may also be filled as a probational appointment if a non-temporary position becomes available in the recruitment process.
- If filled by probation, a permanent classified LA State employee, if selected, may be required to accept a probational appointment.
- Filled at the highest level of experience of the selected applicant.
- Salary depends on level of experience.
