- Assist in preparation of high-level case designs for business, estate, and retirement planning cases
- assisting with financial planning utilizing advanced strategies including trusts and charitable strategies
- Case follow-up with advanced market concepts
- Creating marketing copy for concepts based upon new tax/legal developments
- Submitting and monitoring content through Ad Review
- Assist with reporting on production results from the Advanced Solutions and Design team
- Provide general support to the Advanced Solutions and Design team
- Incoming second year law student or higher, or incoming junior studying finance, financial planning, or related field
- Enrolled in college program for the course the internship
- Able to fulfill a long-term internship commitment (one to two years), working full-time in the summer and part-time during the school year
- FT includes 30-40 hours a week
- PT includes 15-20 hours a week
- Strong oral and writing skills
- An interest in tax, trusts, and/or financial planning
- Ability to adapt to change and take initiative
- Ability to ask questions and write accurately about the business
- Possess strong relationship building skills

Ameritas Agency and Advisor Distribution is looking for an Advanced Financial Planning Intern that possesses a unique set of skills. This position requires an individual with the aptitude and desire to utilize legal, accounting, and marketing skills to position Ameritas as a first-class wealth management company. This position also requires one to possess and most importantly learn how best to prepare a curriculum to help financial advisors motivate and educate their clients. This position requires a highly motivated and energetic individual with the desire to put their intellectual aptitude to work in a non-traditional manner.This internship would start in summer 2023.
