      Job Description Summary

      The Indirect Commodity Manager plays a key role in supporting the operations of Aero Alliance shops
      She/He will fully own the assigned Commodity both in terms of spent allocation and Vendor performances.
      She/He will drive the Vendor reporting activities (KPIs & Scorecards) for the Aero Alliance organization as well as will act as Supplier’s escalation point.
      She/He will lead the category market intelligence to proactively identify, monitor and optimize opportunities in alignment with industry trends and evolving technology.
      He/she will coordinate internal and external resources supporting the indirect buy execution.

      Job Description

      Essential Responsibilities

      • Drive the Implementation of the Indirect purchase Strategy for all the Aero JV sites
      • Monitor the execution ensuring that key strategic targets (i.e Mkt Share allocation, Annual Savings, TAT) will be met.
      • Lead Supplier Relationship & Vendor Performance Management activities, drive OTD scorecards development combining Vendors performances across Aero Network
      • Ensure the implementation of current and new Supplier agreements
      • Manage service agreement to leverage external sourcing resources in channel partners
      • Work with IM to normalize commoditization attributes Commodity/Sub Commodity/Prod Code/P/N) across Aero JV Oracle instances and develop standard reporting template
      • Own Vendor Auditing process, cooperate with EHS & Shop Faculty Managers for relevant NCA/RCA
      • Work closely with the Buyers and shop leaders to identify improvement actions and volume buy optimization opportunities to make Commodity management process more efficient and cost effective.

      Qualifications / Requirements

      • Bachelor's Degree or High school Diploma plus significant experience in Category or Commodity Management
      • Significant experience in Category / Commodity Management role

      • Ability to manage multiple, simultaneous projects requiring on time communication/update with key stakeholders

      • Demonstrated ability in cultivating strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders
      • Strong analytical skills
      • Excellent presentation, communication, and team player attitudes
      • Full availability to travel for business purposes world-wide
      • Fluency in English
