      The Opportunity This is an amazing opportunity for an enthusiastic and proactive insurance professional to join our New Plymouth branch on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract, with potential to go permanent. A varied role where no two days are the same, this position will see you managing an existing portfolio of Agribusiness clients, with some commercial and domestic insurance. This is a client-facing position, where you will frequently be visiting rural clients. Being the key point of contact for a number of longstanding clients, you will have ample opportunity to provide exceptional service and demonstrate your impressive relationship-building and negotiation skills. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Managing client servicing requirements in an efficient and timely manner Identifying opportunities for growth, both within our existing client base and new business Preparing proposals for new business opportunities Coordinating client renewals and preparing premium calculations About you If you consider yourself to be proactive and self-motivated with a talent for building and maintaining excellent client relationships, then this could be the opportunity for you! Key to your success, you will also be able to demonstrate: Proven Agribusiness or rural sales experience within the insurance industry Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal Good attention to detail, time management and organisational skills Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure Team player with the ability to get along with a wide variety of people Ideally, Level 5 qualified, or able to obtain before mid-March 2023. While previous experience in an Insurnace Consultant role is a bonus, we welcome applications from candidates who are currently in a support role in the Agri business space and looking to take the next steps in their career.
