Inviting applications for the role of Analyst, Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) Finance
The primary focus of this position is to support the CS&L Costing Manager in understanding the numbers and drivers.
This role plays an important part within CS&L Controlling Team by centrally analyzing the CS&L costs and Balance Sheets.
CS&L is one of the most complex areas and the person needs to understand complex processes not only from a finance perspective but also from the day-to-day CS&L operations. We manage warehouses and transportation as well as Inventory Write-off and Co-packing Costs. The CS&L Controlling Team works closely with multiple CS&L Controllers across countries and support CS&L Leadership Team in headquarters. We also liaise with various finance teams e.g., Product Costing, Inventory Accounting, Central FP&A, and Central Overhead Teams.
The role goes beyond just technical booking and finance systems and into a detailed analysis of cost drivers for both Op-Co and Areas.
This role also operates in a complex matrix environment that involves people from different countries and categories. The person needs to be able to connect the dots/input and provide meaningful analysis as an output.Responsibilities
• Preparation of bottom-up budget for expenses which additionally requires direct coordination with different nonfinance business stakeholders
• Periodical forecasting 3-4 times a year and comparison with previous forecast/budget to identify key drivers
• Prepare all routine accruals
• Provide support for all ad-hoc accruals requests received from CS&L (Customer service & logistics) team during the month
• Perform P&L review and align with the business to ensure the costs are booked for the month
• monthly reporting of CS&L costs (plan vs. actual) and its presentation to the business director with detailed analysis and commentary
• Balance sheet reconciliations
• Managing overhead cost
• Support CS&L Costing Manager with analysis for budget and ad hoc presentations
• Ensure compliance with key financial policies
• Perform Period Close process for the plant in SAP, including first step analysis of results
• Drive efficiencies in the close process
• Maintain Supply Reporting Governance and processQualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications/ Skills
• MBA (Finance) / ICMA with good FP&A experience
• Relevant experience in budget preparation, financial planning, period-end closePreferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Worked in Manufacturing setup for a fortune 500 company. Logistics background, an added advantage
• Robust FP&A experience
• Good communication skills
• Operational SAP experience
