An opening is available for AMR Field Services Technician in the Utility Services Department. Overall duties will include, but are not limited to, reading electric and gas meters; installing, maintaining, and reading water meters, as well as electronic reading totalizers manually, visually and electronically and performing customer service duties for Dalton Utilities through our AMR metering program.? This would include the installation, maintenance, and reading of all AMR meters in the Dalton Utilities system. The employee will also work closely with the Billing Department to ensure billing dates and that AMR meters are reading correctly and identify any metering issues.
Regular hours of this position are 7:00 a.m. ? 3:30 p.m., Monday ? Friday with some overtime possible.

Must be able to walk up and down stairs.
Must be able to drive a vehicle.
Pay Range:
$17.00? 23.00/hour (includes lowest Assistant Level to top of Service Tech)?About the company
