Job Description

- Post daily cash activities; Provide data for weekly journal entry relating to cash management activity and daily prior day bank activity reconciliation
- Perform daily corporate cash management and forecasting activities; determines company’s cash position and maintains account balances; compiles cash report
- Poll bank account balances; Prepare and enter daily ACH cash concentration transfers as assigned by Treasury Manager and/or Asst. Treasurer
- Control bank account balances for 12 financial institutions and over 250 bank accounts
- Execute funds movement transactions: 1) Execute wire transfers and other funding necessary to balance company’s daily cash position; 2) Enter daily concentration of cash, borrowing funding, and/or investment transactions
- Ensure adequate liquidity: 1) Anticipate short-term borrowing needs if necessary, 2) Determine daily cash balances available for investment and appropriately invests excess cash balances and administers short-term investments at the direction of Treasury Manager and/or Asst. Treasurer
- Report cash operation activities to management and perform transactions and resolve errors in a timely manner
- Maintain regular and detailed interaction with A/P, A/R, Credit, Payroll for analytical and process support
- Comprehensive management of foreign currency (“FX”) transactions from the initial request and execution of the trade to delivery of beneficiary information and confirmation of USD equivalent for recording in ERP; resolves any FX currency issues
- Perform departmental database maintenance; Maintain treasury files and creates new spreadsheets
- Process returned bank account items and distribute to corresponding departments that manage collection of return check items
- Assist in the implementation of cash management systems and policies and bank software programs
- Participate in maintenance of and communication on bank relationships
- Maintain communication with internal and external auditors to ensure the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal controls while identifying opportunities for process improvements
- Prepare, execute and verify positive pay issue files for all controlled disbursement account issuances. Resolve all positive pay exception items
- Assist the Treasury Manager in Debt Facility Management; assists to monitor repayments (principal, interest and fees) and ensure timely payments
- Responsible for contingency cash operations to insure non-interruption of cash function during emergencies – Manage Treasury Department laptop computer
- Perform additional projects/duties to support ongoing business needs
- Possesses a broad theoretical job knowledge typically obtained through advanced education
- Has no discretion to deviate from established procedures by performing structured work assignments
- Work is closely supervised

- Explains facts, policies and practices related to job area
- Knowledge of cash management products
- Knowledge of processes of U.S. financial institutions and various financial instruments that are customarily used
- Proficient in MS Office – Outlook and intermediate functions of Excel such as V lookup and pivot tables
- Treasury workstation and bank software experience
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrates a customer-focused approach when interacting with customers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Ability to use good judgement and strong work ethics and integrity on the job
- Priority setting – capable of managing multiple inputs and directions to deliver the desired results
- Strong team player, results orientated, dedication to excellence and sense of urgency to achieve business objectives and ability to be a strong individual contributor
- 3-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors’ degree in finance or accounting or equivalent experience
- Willingness to work toward the CTP credential
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations

Daikin Comfort Technologies Manufacturing, L.P. is seeking a skilled individual for our Analyst Treasury position at our DTTP - Waller, TX location. The Treasury Analyst performs moderately complex analyses and assists in high-level recommendations on a variety of treasury and financial assurance activities as well as special ad hoc and cross-functional projects. This position collaborates with both internal customers and external service providers in order to carry out a broad scope of responsibilities within the Treasury department.
