      Job Title: Architectural Designer

      Job Overview

      We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer to play a key role in the technical design, documentation, and coordination of corporate interiors projects, with additional involvement in automotive dealership projects nationwide. This position is highly focused on construction documentation (CDs) and construction administration (CA), delivering precise, high‑quality drawings and supporting project teams throughout the design and construction process.


      Responsibilities

      • Support architectural design and documentation for corporate interiors projects, including office buildouts, renovations, and tenant improvements.
      • Contribute to select automotive dealership projects across the United States.
      • Prepare detailed construction document packages, including demolition plans, floor plans, interior and exterior elevations, and architectural details.
      • Produce and update working drawings using AutoCAD in alignment with project standards.
      • Assist during construction administration to ensure all documentation reflects design intent and meets field conditions.
      • Review and process submittals and RFIs for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
      • Apply redlines, revisions, and field‑generated updates in close coordination with project architects and project managers.
      • Maintain organized, up‑to‑date drawing sets and adhere to firm drafting standards and documentation processes.

      Essential Skills

      • Experience supporting architectural projects during CD and CA phases.
      • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD for architectural drafting and working‑drawing production.
      • Solid understanding of construction documents, detailing, and industry standards.
      • Experience reviewing and processing submittals and RFIs.
      • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

      Additional Skills & Qualifications

      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
      • Minimum 3 years of experience producing AutoCAD working drawings, with references and PDF samples.
      • Proficiency in Revit and other architectural design software is preferred.

      Work Environment

      Join a 30‑person architecture and interiors firm located on Morehead Street near Uptown Charlotte.       The pay range for this position is $65000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
