Job Description
- Req#: 466965
- Assist the company Historian in cataloguing, preserving, and interpreting historical and archival data and artifacts for ease of retrieval; Assist in gathering requested data or material for the company/family
- Assist the company Historian as required in presenting to visitors the history of the Tabasco brand, the McIlhenny family and company, and Avery Island in general
- Assist the company Historian in maintaining exhibits in the Tabasco Museum and the Visitors Center
- Perform administrative/clerical functions, i.e., composing/typing correspondence, photocopying, faxing, telephone assistance, filing and calendaring
- Complete other duties as assigned
- Currently attending college
- Be able to work 8+ hours a week
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- History major
