      Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Last Mile Execution, with four key areas that you’ll always focus on are the safety, quality, customer experience, and productivity of your Operation.

      This role requires working with multiple business and technical teams across the company to manage successful On The Road (OTR) performance, driving continuous improvement and enhancing carrier performance. The candidate must be effective in influencing leadership across customer service operations, technology teams, multiple support teams, multiple carrier partners and senior leadership.

      Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
      - You will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible of the day to day management of the Last Mile Operation, overseeing the On the Road (OTR) operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.
      - Supporting a team of Delivery Service Providers in daily management of the last mile operation, including meetings, training sessions, assigning job duties, data analysis, metrics reviews and communicating with DSPs including management representatives and their drivers.

      Additional Job Elements:

      - Setting and communicating performance goals, creating expectations and objectives to achieve customer promise expectations and ensure accuracy and quality.

      - Ensure productivity on route is maximized through, training, analysis, and feedback of performance data on a periodic basis.

      - Partnering with the AMZL Delivery Station under the roof (UTR) management team to establish and maintain quality control standards.

      - Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools.

      - Tactical leadership of strategic initiatives.

      - Cross functional coordination and task tracking.

      - Communications across various areas to ensure alignment of goals and tasks to guarantee the overall success of the program.

      - Strategic planning and forecasting to appraise performance and problem resolution.

      - Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.

      - Management and execution of cross-functional projects or components of large programs including data gathering, manipulation and analysis, forward looking supply chain approaches and communication of insights & recommendations.

      - Creating and implementing improvements to our transportation network that deliver flexible and efficient products on behalf of our customers.

      - Ensuring procedures are followed for safety, building security and product loss prevention

      Key job responsibilities
      1) Lead, guide ans perform all Safety Principles and Protocols trough his/her spam of control.
      2) Develop Internal talent aligned with the Amazon Guiding Principles to have a robust succession planning in placed to release the growth of team.
      3) Lead and monitor Metrics improvement such as ?DS, %OTD, ?, ?A, ?A, ?A Premium.
      4) Deep Dive on deviations, root cause analysis and Action Plans for the KPIs.
      5) Design and Lead Continuous Plans that detonates disruptive improvements.
      6) Develop Internal talent aligned with the Amazon Guiding Principles to have a robust succession planning in placed to release the growth of team.


      A day in the life
      Main role is to monitor, guide and coach DSP from the Dispatch of the TBMs, performance of the route trough de return to the TBMs that were needed to return due Customer Unavailable. Based on this the OTR Manager will design, create, implement, coordinate, monitor and create all actions plans, projects, governance and initiatives to drive the expected performance trough Safety, Customer Obsession, People, Quality, Environmental and Cost

      About the team
      OTR Team is a team that is at every Delivery Station and shares best practices that makes a robust connection to perform local and remote support to the Delivery Station and to remote Delivery Station trough the Region. Each Delivery Station has specific and common issues and trough bench-marking and cross-functioning among the team-members is a key success factor in how projects and initiatives are disruptional to drive a healthy evolution on the team and AMZL

      We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:

      León, GUA, MEX- Completed High School Diploma or Bachelor Degree in progress.
      - 1+ years of direct management experience of employees and their performance.
      - 1+ years of experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
      - Candidates must have flexibility to work weekends and/or overnight shifts, if needed.
      - English basic level.- Bachelor Degree completed.
      - Demonstrated experience to effectively manage workload and meet aggressive deadlines.
      - 1+ years management experience in a delivery, manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
      - Management of a minimum of 20 employees (including payroll, performance management, work-flow assignment).
      - Interest in long-term career development in Logistics & Transportation.
      - Experience working and managing 3PL operations.
      - Fluent English.
