Job Description
- Req#: 15197
Overview
A sweet young family of three in Santa Ynez, CA is seeking a fantastic career nanny to care for their 3-month-old daughter. The general schedule is Monday through Friday, 12-9pm, with room for changes as they learn more about their needs. This position is live-out, so candidates should be local to the area or should be interested in relocating. The family will assist with relocation for the right candidate.
Duties for this role encompass everything related to the child and her well-being, including child related laundry and organization, managing feeding and nap schedules, and creating a stimulating and enriching environment for her. As she grows the nanny will be responsible for light children's meal preparation-light family meal preparation would be great, but is not required. The family is seeking a nanny with extensive infant experience and knowledge of childhood development. Both parents will be in and out throughout the day, and they are seeking someone who is able to "read the room" and knows when to step in and out as needed. The ideal candidate for this role will be creative and open minded, as well as warm, nurturing, and proactive.
The family travels domestically and internationally, and they would like for their nanny to accompany them. Infant/child CPR and first aid certification is required, as is a COVID vaccination. Candidates must drive, and a car is provided for work use. The family has two hypoallergenic cats, so candidates should feel comfortable around animals. The family is offering a rate of $30-40/hr. for this role, depending on experience. If you are legal to work in the US, are trustline certified, and would like to be considered for this position, please apply to AS410.
