  Cabinet assemblers are responsible for fitting pre-fabricated and kitted wooden parts to create cabinets.Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists: gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements. Candidates must have prior woodworking experience to be considered.

  Responsibilities
  
  
  • Use hand and power tools to assemble cabinets
  • Trims and smooths parts
  • Inserts screws or dowels in predrilled holes and fasten parts together
  • Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and knobs
  • Measure and install laminate on counter tops
  
  
  The essential functions of this role include:
  
  working in a smoke free environment
  wearing steel toe shoes
  working in a non-temperature controlled environment
  manual lifting up to 35lbs
  standing for 8 hours at one time
  working up to 10 hrs of overtime per week
