- Develop new business opportunities, work on sales pitches and proposals, drive sales process
- Engage with client relationships, conduct performance reviews and meetings, provide investment advice on investment strategies, products and services
- Coordinate projects and client activities with various internal departments
- Work closely with investment teams, Product Development, Operations, Risk, Legal and other internal parties to optimize product and service delivery for overall relationship
- Understand and analyze the industry development, and translate it into potential business opportunity
- Research competitors' offerings and identify ways to improve the marketability and competitiveness of our products
- University Degree with at least 3 years of sales experience in the finance industry
- Self-starter who is adaptive, fast-learning, responsive, reliable, extremely well-organized, detail-oriented and committed to accuracy
- Exceptional communication, presentation and networking skills
- Strong knowledge of capital markets and investment products
- Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin (both spoken and written)
J.P. Morgan Asset Management has been a leading manager of Hong Kong institutional and pension portfolios and has extensive experience in governmental, insurance and retirement fund management. The Hong Kong Institutional and Pension team is now looking for a Client Advisor focusing on uncovering sales opportunities, as well as building and maintaining client relationships independently.
As an Associate in the Hong Kong Institutional Business, you will build and drive business opportunity discussions with major institutional investors in Hong Kong that require confidentiality, diligence and self-motivation. You will need to possess excellent organizational skills and the abilities to prioritize effectively and multi-task efficiently. You will not only observe established procedures, processes and guidelines when performing assigned tasks, but also exercise good judgment and appropriate discretion to produce timely, high quality results that are in line with the team’s objectives and best interests.
