      Job Purpose

      Support the implementation of the marketing plan and collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve specific, measurable business and marketing objectives. This role is designed for a future-fit marketing team that embraces a generalist approach in the age of artificial intelligence, where adaptability, cross-functional skills, and strategic thinking are key.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Coordinate tasks, resources, and stakeholders to support marketing activities and meet financial objectives.
      • Maintain digital properties including the company website and internal communication platforms.
      • Oversee website content, collaborate on user experience enhancements, monitor analytics, and coordinate brand content publishing.
      • Develop and manage a content calendar for various channels.
      • Support branding of social media accounts and podcast production.
      • Manage PR and media contact relationships.
      • Coordinate the development and delivery of marketing materials and promotional items.
      • Plan and execute client and staff events, including logistics, venue coordination, and post-event communication.
      • Organize and manage webinars and online event logistics.
      • Provide input for marketing reports and maintain team knowledge sharing.
      • Identify and support enhancements to processes, systems, and policies.
      • Stay abreast of industry changes, legislation, and AI-driven marketing trends.
      • Align marketing activities with the Client Value Proposition (CVP) and broader business goals.

      • Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc.).
      • Participate and support corporate social responsibility initiatives for the achievement of key business strategies.
      • Identify and recommend opportunities to enhance processes; systems and policies and support implementation of new processes; policies and systems.
      • Understand and embrace the Nedbank vision and demonstrate the values through interaction with team and stakeholders.
      • Improve personal capability and stay abreast of developments in field of expertise by identifying training courses and career progression for self through input and feedback from managers.

      Essential Qualifications - NQF Level

      • Matric / Grade 12 / National Senior Certificate
      • Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

      Preferred Qualification

      Relevant Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing and/or Communications

      Minimum Experience Level

      2-3 years' experience in sales, marketing, or advertising environment
