      The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is looking to hire an Assistant Director of First Year Recruitment. This position will be based out of the Atlanta campus and will supervise staff.

      The Assistant Director of First Year Recruitment will be responsible for managing all aspects of recruitment territories, travel scheduling and planning, meeting with students, parents, and guidance counselors, representing Georgia State University and Perimeter College at on and off campus events and reviewing applications for admission.

      What will you be doing?

      · Create yearly data driven, prospect to enrollment, recruitment plan for first year student populations. Responsible for data management, creation of reports, and overall recruitment efforts using Slate, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system).

      · Travels 4-8 weeks in their own territory in the Fall and Spring to recruitment prospective students in the Fall and admitted students in the Spring.

      · Manages and develops recruitment staff to effectively and efficiently travel while focusing on creating deep relationships with students, their families, high school counselors and alumni to drive growth in personal market and the markets of their team.

      · Provide program assistance, development, and direction for internal and external recruitment activities, events on and off campus, and programs as part of the enrollment management strategy plan.

      · Coordinate, design, organize, attend, and administer internal and external events to recruit and attract students to Georgia State University and Perimeter College.

      · Work in conjunction with our Assistant Director of Customer Management to ensure that the highest quality of customer service is provided to our prospects, admitted students and current students via in-person, phone, and email. Respond to all internal and external recruitment-related requests.

      · Schedule, create and implement internal and external events in CRM system. Provide ideas, insight and guidance on recruitment collateral and admissions website updates. Assist in the development and implementation of market cultivation and admissions website updates.

      · Assist and collaborate with the processing team to review academic and non-academic documents for the purpose of admission to Georgia State University and Perimeter College.

      · Supervise full-time staff. Coordinate human resources activities, including creating/modifying position descriptions, performance appraisals, hiring, staff training, discipline, conflict resolution, and termination of employees. Must have knowledge of campus human resources policies, procedures, and employment development opportunities. Maintain materials for use in policy and procedure manuals and training documents.

      · Other duties as assigned

      Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

      Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years of supervisory/management experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
