      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Review residential projects for compliance with building codes and regulations
      - Assist in street improvement projects, including preparing Plans, Specifications, and Estimates (PS&E)
      - Lead AutoCAD design efforts for various civil engineering projects
      - Collaborate with Civil Engineers on infrastructure rehabilitation and construction oversight
      - Serve as a project liaison during construction to ensure quality control and compliance

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution
      - Minimum of two (2) years of civil engineering experience
      - Possession of a valid Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certificate
      - Ability to maintain a valid California Driver's License throughout employment
      - Experience operating automotive vehicles in the performance of assigned duties

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Knowledge of engineering codes and manuals such as the Building Code and Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices
      - Familiarity with technical engineering aspects, financial costs, and safety concerns
