What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Write, review, and advise on legal contracts and agreements
- Represent the employer in legal matters and disputes
- Research and analyze laws and regulations relevant to clients
- Gather evidence to support legal defenses or initiate actions
- Negotiate and draft agreements with customers and vendors
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree required
- 0 to 2 years of relevant experience
- Must be licensed in one of the operating states (TN, IN, IL, MO, KS, GA, FL)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent research and judgment abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in nonprofit or behavioral health legal issues
- Familiarity with contract negotiation and drafting
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the healthcare sector
