Support Director in creating a comprehensive annual giving calendar for quarterly appeals and targeted solicitation program.
Work closely with Director and Advancement Communications on creative direction and messaging for quarterly and ad hoc appeals.
Coordinate with IT to obtain accurate data based on segmentation plan.
Review vendor proofs and data files to ensure accuracy prior to printing.
Create email components that complement direct mail pieces.
Collaborate with Assistant Director, Digital Engagement to execute ThankView and texting campaigns.
Create/update annual giving reports, presentations, dashboards etc.
Manage two college/unit-specific campaigns annually, including budget and production, and provide support/guidance for ad hoc college/unit appeals.
Meet with AVPs and communicators bi-annually to establish priorities and set goals and objectives for each semester’s targeted solicitation.
Provide timely updates and reports of campaign performance and implement data-driven strategies to improve outcomes.
Develop and execute annual calendar of solicitation, engagement and stewardship including targeted Georgia State Day communications and engagement.
Plan and attend events to engage target groups such as Donuts with Development, sporting events, Orientation, and Family Weekend.
Serve as liaison to Staff Council and Student Orientation and Family Engagement Office to facilitate engagement of targeted groups.

Individuals will also be required to work some nights and weekends, when necessary, travel (via plane, train, or car) at least 15% of the time within and outside of the state of Georgia.
Bachelor’s degree and two years of solicitation of gifts up to $25,000; or a combination of education and related experience.
Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability with a high degree of flexibility and attention to detail in a highly collaborative, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.
Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Writing, or related field.
Experience in Annual Giving, Donor Relations, or Higher Education Fundraising, Direct Marketing, and/or Project Management.
Experience using a fundraising CRM (Salesforce, Raiser’s Edge/NXT, etc.).
Experience using annual giving software (Double the Donation, ThankView, etc.).
Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and basic formula functions such as V-lookup.

Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Annual Giving, the Associate Director of Constituent Programs is primarily responsible for drafting solicitations and engagement communications for Annual Giving, creating and executing college level appeals and managing the execution of targeted solicitation programs.
Job Duties
Annual Giving Campaigns:
Primarily responsible for drafting and editing direct mail, email, and digital pieces for Annual Giving campaigns, ensuring messaging is clear, compelling, and aligned with university branding.
College/Unit Support:
Collaborate with AVPs, Deans and college communicators to create annual giving operating plans to support college/unit annual giving initiatives, including annual giving solicitations and college/unit coordination and implementation of Georgia State Day.
Targeted Solicitation Programs:
Support the Director to execute target solicitation programs in collaboration with the Advancement Communications and Donor Relations teams including parents and family, faculty and staff, matching gifts, and loyalty giving.

Preferred Hiring Qualifications:
Anticipated Hiring Range: $79,400 – $103,200. Salary offers will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications in relation to the Minimum Hiring Standards. Candidates earlier in their careers are typically offered salaries closer to the minimum of the hiring range, while those with more advanced or relevant experience may be considered for compensation at or above the hiring range.
