Job Description

- Designs and develops high-quality code.
- Implements functional requirements according to specification.
- Debugs, analyzes and fixes application defects.
- Follows the software development lifecycle process and best practices.
- Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve software issues.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
- 0-2 years’ software development experience including design and development.
- C++ and Java programming.
- Hands-on Linux experience.
- Relational databases and SQL programming experience
- Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
- Effective verbal and written communication in English.
- Spring Boot framework
- Groovy programming
- Microservice architecture
- NoSQL databases
- FIX protocol
- REST API design
- JMS and messaging systems (NATS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ or other)
- Docker and Kubernetes
- Agile, scrum, SAFe methodologies
- Financial systems development
- Knowledge of FOREX market
What will you contribute?
You will join a scrum team working on systems integration.
As an Associate Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain high-quality software product applications for investment banks. Working closely with QA Engineers and Business Analysts, you be responsible for delivery of functional requirements and bug fixes in a timely manner. You will work with a wide range of modern technologies and tools. This position is located in Gdynia.
