      What will you contribute?

      You will join a scrum team working on systems integration.

      As an Associate Software Engineer you will design, develop and maintain high-quality software product applications for investment banks. Working closely with QA Engineers and Business Analysts, you be responsible for delivery of functional requirements and bug fixes in a timely manner. You will work with a wide range of modern technologies and tools. This position is located in Gdynia.

      Responsibilities & Deliverables:

      Your deliverables as an Associate Software Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:

      • Designs and develops high-quality code.
      • Implements functional requirements according to specification.
      • Debugs, analyzes and fixes application defects.
      • Follows the software development lifecycle process and best practices.
      • Interacts with internal stakeholders to support product releases and/or resolve software issues.
      • Other duties and projects as assigned.

      Required Experience:

      • 0-2 years’ software development experience including design and development.
      • C++ and Java programming.
      • Hands-on Linux experience.
      • Relational databases and SQL programming experience
      • Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
      • Effective verbal and written communication in English.

      Knowledge of technologies listed below will be considered as assets:

      • Spring Boot framework
      • Groovy programming
      • Microservice architecture
      • NoSQL databases
      • FIX protocol
      • REST API design
      • JMS and messaging systems (NATS, ActiveMQ, IBM MQ or other)
      • Docker and Kubernetes
      • Agile, scrum, SAFe methodologies
      • Financial systems development
      • Knowledge of FOREX market
