      Job Details:

      Job Summary: Support technical producer processes and supplement skills on projects involving software engineering, simulation engineering, and instructional system design development. This position typically works under close supervision and direction.

      Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Aid in project design oversight
      • Gather, analyze, and report metrics
      • Assist in requirements analysis
      • Perform a supporting role on proposals, as required
      • Aid in performance of other producer activities, as needed
      • Perform assigned analyses and trade studies as necessary to aid in the selection of production concepts
      • Define and document the requirements for a training system
      • Allocate system requirements to production groups and oversee development/refinement of lower-level requirements
      • Write specifications, design documentation, and test plans/procedures
      • Support hardware/software integration
      • Support system level testing

      Minimum Job Requirements:

      Two year college degree in technical field. Familiarity with the Technical Producer process preferred. Basic knowledge and experience in technical producer and software development. Knowledge of the following skill sets: effective communication (verbal/written) skills, project management philosophies, Scrum/Agile philosophies, analytical thinking, software development processes, task tracking software proficiency, PC hardware/software knowledge, and documentation creation. Strong presentation and organizational skills. Effective written and oral communication skills. Mental ability to perform engineering problem solving and analytical tasks. Must be able to work under project deadlines and associated cost and schedule constraints. Proficient in Microsoft Office. ISO 9001:2000, SEI CMMI, and/or Lean/Agile development knowledge and experience preferred. Game Studio experience strongly preferred. General understanding of Rational Requisite Pro and/or Telelogic DOORS preferred. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance if necessary.
