Job Description
Events
Coordinate and provide comprehensive event support for various events and meetings.
Effectively manage and operate in-room equipment during events; which includes direct-feed cameras, in-room A/V, and mobile devices (i.e. iPads)
Assist with setup and breakdown external audio/video equipment used for events.
Manage remote audience’s experience through in-room A/V system.
Collaborate with additional support staff to ensure seamless execution of events.
AMI Facility
Supervise and oversee equipment within the AMI environment.
Regularly update and maintain equipment as needed.
Provide support during testing activities using AMI equipment.
Stage and assist in the fulfillment of the delivery of equipment for installations as needed.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of AMI.
Collaborate with additional staff to ensure effective support of AMI.
Resource Requirements
Must be able to be in the office five (5) days per week or more as required by schedule.
Occasional weekend work may be required.
Confidentiality is critical.
Comfortable in Medical Environments: Must be at ease working in medical settings, including close proximity to cadavers for medical research purposes.
Works closely with onsite BTS Site Support resource.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects (50+ pounds).
Weekend work may be required occasionally, estimated at around 10%.
Additional Details:
Years of experience/education and/or certifications required: 5-7 years of experience in Audio Visual Technician and/or Event Technician roles.
Skills:
1. Knowledge of various types of AV equipment
2. Proficiency in video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams)
3. Communication and interpersonal skills
4. Ability to work well under pressure and make decisions quickly
5. Technical and troubleshooting skills
Examples:
Bachelor of Science; 4-year pharma, health care, or regulated industry
Experience in a corporate environment
Experience in Customer Service roles
