  The Azure Platform Engineer will build, manage and support Just Group’s expanding Azure Enterprise Data Platform.

  Job Role Accountabilities
  Manage the Azure Cloud Infrastructure so it is available during core business hours
  Define and implement Azure analytics standards, patterns, naming conventions and cost governance
  Define, implement and manage ARM templates for deployment of Azure analytics resources
  Review solution designs and ensure they adhere to standards
  Provide Level 2/3 support to the platform and escalate issues to Microsoft as necessary
  Define, communicate and execute the Azure analytics platform technical roadmap
  Ensure Cloud integrity and security and ensure data is effectively protected
  AUTH and SAML-based Authentication and Configuration
  Azure DevOps support – supporting the CI/CD pipeline, and git integrations

  Examples of Key Activities
  Ensure that the bottlenecks in the cloud infrastructure are identified and fine-tuning is done for optimal performance
  Deployment and configuration of cloud services using automation pipelines
  Ongoing configuration and maintenance of Azure cloud services
  Azure Storage and capacity planning, backup and Disaster Recovery
  Deploy resources and repeatable deployments with ARM and/or Terraform templates

  Work on Microsoft Azure Networking
  Design virtual networks to support workloads with the highest security and performance
  Configure hybrid connectivity between on-premises environments and Azure, and monitor
  network performance to comply with service-level agreements
  Dive into automation technology options within Azure, including delivery automation via yaml pipelines
  Produce configuration design documentation for proposed solutions
  Azure subscription administration
  Implementation and maintenance of cloud security infrastructure and defined security policy (DLP, CASB)
  SQL Database Infrastructure administration on-prem and cloud deployments

  Support Solution Architecture Team
  Integration of monitoring tools into security monitoring platforms
  Creating Python code for testing

  Qualifications
  Essential for the role
  Bachelor/Master’s degree with high computing content or equivalent
  experience in a software/system engineering profession

  Azure Administration experience & certifications (AZ-104 etc.)
  Azure security experience/certifications (AZ-500 etc.)

  Experience in deploying Microsoft Purview is desirable
  Previous experience working in a regulated environment is desirable
