      Main duties of the job

      As a Bank Healthcare Assistant, you will join the team at St Neots Neurological Service to provide care, therapeutic and rehabilitation pathways for those affected by neurological or mental health conditions. You will utilize your experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Support Worker, or Care Worker to support people and help them lead a valued and fulfilled life. The role can be challenging at times, but it is also highly rewarding to see the positive impact you can make. You will be on a zero-hour contract, giving you the freedom to choose the shifts you want to work each week.

      Are you an experienced Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker wanting control and flexibility to work the shifts you want?

      Whether you’re looking for extra shifts to boost your income or a flexible job that fits around your lifestyle, if you’re an experienced Healthcare Assistant in the UK you can join our staff bank and, after completing a paid two-week induction, you’ll have access to available shifts at St Neots Neurological in St Neots, plus the potential future option to work bank shifts regionally at other Elysium services across the region.

      There is no minimum number of hours that you need to work, although it is recommended to work as often as you can to ensure your induction knowledge and familiarity with the service is retained.

      Weekdays, nights and weekend shifts are regularly available, which are easy to view and book through an app. Within a few taps you’ll have the shifts at St Neots Neurological Centre secured that you want.

      Whether your nursing experience is from the NHS or private sector, you can join the team as a Bank Healthcare Assistant with an hourly rate that includes a 12.07% uplift to cover annual leave, plus have access to a range of benefits including free meals on duty, free parking and more.

      St Neots Neurological Service is located in the centre of town and provides assessment, treatment, rehabilitation and complex care for both males and females suffering from a broad range of neurological conditions, which is provided by a highly experienced team based on site.
