What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop familiarity with the health sciences industry and relevant companies
- Assist in the creation of financial models for revenue forecasts, cash flow analysis, and balance sheet projections
- Conduct financial and valuation analyses, including discounted cash flow and leveraged buyout evaluations
- Track M&A and private equity activity, identifying trends and potential strategic suitors
- Participate in pitch preparation, company visits, and due diligence processes
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 3-4 years of relevant M&A experience
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Excel Macros is a plus
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Capital IQ is a plus
- Familiarity with AI tools and technology
- Prior experience analyzing financial statements and valuation methods
