  Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for daily referral outreach to members are received from the BHO BIC box in Touchworks.
  • Responsible for documentation of scheduled appointments in the Touchworks and ICM (Integrated Case Management) platforms.
  • Responsible for scheduling all Network referrals that are sent via fax to BHO.
  • Have a working knowledge of behavioral health terminology (diagnoses and treatment).
  • Being familiar with the Network Providers that we utilize and establishing working relationships with them.
  • Responsible for filtering BIC referrals daily by line of business.
  • Have a working knowledge of Excel and the ability to add members to the spreadsheet for scheduling appointments.
  • Attend BIC Team meetings every other week to discuss team procedures, policies, and workflows.
  • Ability to work within a group to discuss referrals, needed treatment, and best practices for our members.
  • Ability to work with medical Doctors, Nurses, Medical Assistants, and staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

  *** Candidate must be available to work Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm ***

  Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience working in a Managed Care Organization
  • 6+ months of behavioral health experience
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluent Spanish Speaker
  • Case management experience

  Nevada Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $28.03 to $54.95 per hour. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
